SCRABBLE
HELPER
Turn your tiles into winning plays. Our Scrabble Helper calculates points and uses official tournament dictionaries.
The Ultimate Scrabble Word Finder
Scrabble is more than just a game of vocabulary; it's a game of strategy, board control, and mathematical probability. Our Scrabble Helper is designed to be your ultimate companion, helping you find the best words and highest scores from any set of letters.
Official Tournament Dictionaries
To ensure your words are valid in competitive play, we support the two primary Scrabble dictionaries:
- TWL (Tournament Word List): The standard reference for Scrabble tournaments in the United States, Canada, and Thailand.
- SOWPODS: The international standard used in the UK, Australia, and most other countries. It includes thousands of British English words not found in the TWL.
Dynamic Point Calculations
Every word our tool generates includes its base Scrabble point value. While our tool doesn't know your board layout, knowing the base value helps you prioritize which words to look for on Double or Triple Word Score squares.
Scrabble Tile Values & Distribution
Understanding the value and frequency of each tile is key to high-level play. Here is the standard English Scrabble tile distribution:
- 0 Points: Blank (2 tiles)
- 1 Point: A (9), E (12), I (9), L (4), N (6), O (8), R (6), S (4), T (6), U (4)

Core Scrabble Strategies to Win
Hunt for "Bingos"
A "Bingo" is when you use all seven of your tiles in a single turn, earning a 50-point bonus. Always scan your rack for common 7-letter patterns like -ING, -ER, and -EST.
Master 2-Letter Words
Short words are the secret to "parallel play," where you place a word alongside another to score for multiple words at once. Memorizing 2-letter gems like ZA, QI, and XI is essential.
Control the Board
Don't just play the highest-scoring word; think about what you're leaving for your opponent. Avoid opening up Triple Word Score squares unless you can't be countered.
How to Use the Scrabble Helper
Simply enter your rack letters into the input field. Use ? or * for blank tiles. Our advanced filters allow you to search for words that start with, end with, or contain specific letters, making it easy to find moves that fit perfectly onto your current board.
